There is no singular medical therapy for Autism, but early detection and developing a treatment program can improve the quality of life of people with ASD. The earlier a child is diagnosed, the earlier interventions can be initiated, and the better the chance of improving development.
Therapies such as Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Speech therapy, Occupational therapy, and Social skills training can have a positive effect on an individual living with ASD.
Additional support such as Parent training and counselling services alleviate parental stress levels and improve the mental health of the entire family. Coupled with educational services tailored to support an individual’s needs, people with ASD can gain the knowledge and confidence they need to function in society.
